Transaction Information

Placement requires disclosure. Once a transaction moves past initial inquiry, Torcal collects financial, corporate, and project information, and, where an individual is a guarantor or a material credit party, personal financial and credit information. With your consent, we disclose that information to prospective lenders for credit consideration, and to the professional advisors and service providers working on the file, including legal counsel, appraisers, and insurers.

Consent to a credit inquiry is obtained separately and expressly at the point of application. Lenders and advisors who receive transaction information handle it under their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review the privacy terms in any application or commitment you sign with them.

Data Retention

Inquiry data is retained as necessary to fulfill your request and comply with applicable regulations. Transaction records are retained for at least seven years following close or termination of a file, reflecting tax, limitation period, and anti-money-laundering record keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us, subject to those retention obligations.
